Setting display text on screen DAM01.
Setting short message on the display screen DAM01 difficult for those who want to show the status message from the PLC.

Equipment used and the PLC model CP1H/CP1L CP1W-DAM01.

How to use.
Please turn off the power supply every time you install and set DAM01 dip switch.

DAM01 setup message

Step 1.
DAM01 installed on the left slot. The year with the adjustment to the position switch 4 ON (notice the blue bar on the right).

Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are widely used today for industrial automation and control for the factory assembly lines. Unlike general-purpose computer, the PLC is designed for operation in harsh environments, and most manufacturers offer a wide range of I / O and communication options to choose from.
While the basic concepts of PLC programming are common to all manufacturers differences in the I / O addressing, memory organization and instruction sets that PLC programs are never perfectly interchangeable between different makers. Even within the same product of a manufacturer, different models are not directly compatible.
For real-time systems, our diverse experience in various manufacturing environments has enabled us to specialize in a variety of PLC brands and platforms. Some well known brands of PLC, we also know: Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Omron, Modicon / Telemecanique, Toyopuc, Mitsubishi, Bristol Babcock, SCADAPack Series, Koyo, and Panasonic (Matsushita brand). Our team of experienced engineers and programmers, you need all your design and programming assistance. (more…)

Source and sink
The terms “good” and “well” at the bottom of which flows in the direction of the flow as a signal “runs” or activation of a signal. a simplified representation of the output circuits of a logic gate. The circuit uses two transistors, but one lit at all times.

* When the transistor is switched “On” is the question of a “source of power supply voltage of the logic gate, and is a strong” logic “level.
* When the transistor is switched “B”, the output of a current sink to the ground following the logic gate, and represents a low “logical level.

It is important that most logic gates can remember, “the source” and “good” a very small amount of current, typically of the order of several milliamps, sufficient to relays, LEDs and other devices operate directly. (more…)
